This company's interview process and timeline were faster than others. The interviewer was very helpful, answered all my questions, and dedicated an hour to the interview instead of the usual 30 minutes. They shared information about the company's history, future plans, and benefits.

The CMO reached out on LinkedIn and we texted. We had a nice casual phone call where he asked if I could come in for an onsite interview in 2 days, which I agreed to. The interview started off well, but then he asked for some free ideas. I shared info on past successes instead of giving away free ideas, and he started looking at his watch and ended the interview early. After that, communication was poor or non-existent, so I decided to withdraw from the process.

I applied online. I had a pre-screening phone call with a recruiter. She asked about my background, told me about the company, and set up a phone interview for me with the regional director. My interview with the regional director was bad. She was late and had a poor attitude, clearly not interested in me from the start. The job includes my current responsibilities plus managing the entire center. The job title doesn't even have 'management' in it, but the regional director kept bringing up my lack of management experience. When I stated my salary expectations, which were higher than my current pay due to the added management responsibilities, she laughed and said they wouldn't hire me for that much without experience. She said they'd call if they moved forward, but I was ghosted.

Before I could even think about accepting the job, I had to sign a 2-year non-disclosure agreement to shadow or observe the other doctor. And if I did take the job, there was a noncompete agreement that basically said I couldn't practice within 25 miles of any Medi weight loss center in the US for 2 years after leaving. This is really a problem since I practice family medicine, so this isn't feasible.
