So the MedGenome interview process usually starts with a resume screening, then there's a short HR call. After that, you'll have a technical round focusing on genetics and NGS basics. If you pass that, there's an advanced round where they'll test you on ACMG and case interpretation. Finally, there's a concluding HR discussion about salary and shifts, and if all goes well, they'll extend an offer letter.

It was a 3 round process. First was with HR to discuss the position, my availability, notice period and qualifications. Second round was with the Manager where we talked about my educational qualifications and prior work experiences. The final round was with scientists and it was completely about questions related to the field, my previous works, my thesis, scientific terms, explanations, reasoning, and some situation-based questions.

The interview process spanned over a month, involving about 5-6 rounds. There was a lack of clarity regarding the job requirements. After completing all the interview stages, I was informed that they were seeking candidates with higher qualifications, even though the advertised position had specific qualification criteria. It's crucial for employers to be clear about their needs to avoid wasting everyone's time. After three weeks of follow-ups and salary negotiations, my application was rejected. I'm very disappointed with the overall experience. Please ensure job requirements are clearly stated as the interview scheduling and follow-up process can be quite draining.
