I applied for a part-time role that I was really excited about. The recruiter was over half an hour late for our scheduled call, and when she finally did call, she seemed really distracted, like she was busy with chores at home. There was a lot of background noise, and she was talking super fast, as if she was in a rush. She didn't even know which position I'd applied for and started talking about a job almost five hours away from me. When I corrected her, she asked if I was looking for full-time or part-time work. I confirmed I applied for part-time but was open to full-time. Then she asked for my location, which was strange since we had an interview set up, and she seemed to have no information about me. She then apologized, saying they actually had no openings in my area and that all positions were filled, but they'd keep my resume before abruptly ending the call. I was pretty bummed because I really wanted this job, and it's still listed online.

It was very straightforward and easy. The recruiter was nice and set up a meeting with the hiring manager quickly. It all happened very fast and they also prepared the offer fast. It was a smooth process and the team seemed nice.

I applied for the Talent Acquisition Specialist role via a third party, and the hiring manager reached out directly via email. They asked me to provide written responses to many detailed, role-specific questions. The hiring manager mentioned that a virtual interview might not be necessary, as much of the job would be conducted via email, and they wanted to assess my writing and communication style. This seemed logical for the role. I was told 'the board' would review my application within 48 hours. Two days later, I received an email with a job offer of $60/hr. I was excited but also cautious because I hadn't spoken to anyone. I replied, expressing my enthusiasm for the role while also requesting a call or meeting with the hiring manager to discuss my concerns. They emailed back a few business days later asking about my availability for a meeting. I confirmed my availability, but I never heard back.

Behavioral Technical

First I had an HR interview, then a 30-minute virtual interview. The interviewer spent almost all the time talking about the role and how busy the job is. I barely got a chance to talk. I was rejected without any feedback, even though I couldn't even talk about my background or qualifications. I was told there would have been an in-person interview if I had advanced.
