The overall experience was good, although some of the initial screening seemed a bit off. There were 3 rounds in total: a screening call, a technical interview, and a final call with the hiring manager. The first call was pretty general and seemed mostly about checking if I'd be a good cultural fit. The later interviews with a technical project manager and the hiring manager were much tougher. It felt like the person who did the initial screening missed asking some key questions, like about the technical skills needed for the job. That would have been more efficient since the job description didn't make it clear that the role needed more technical expertise than we were led to believe.

So I applied for this Project Coordinator job online and got reached out to about 2 weeks later by a recruiter. They set up an initial screening call, but the interviewer had to cancel last minute because of Covid. They said they'd be in touch once the interviewer was better. While I was waiting, the job got reposted twice, with like 500 applicants total. About two weeks after that, the interviewer rescheduled for early January, since it was close to Christmas. We had the 30-minute call, and they said they'd pass my info to the team. Two weeks went by with no word, so I emailed the recruiter. Turns out they changed their systems and I never got the message saying they weren't moving forward with my application.

The interview process was kind of a mess, all communication happened through SmartRecruiters and there wasn't a main contact person or any info about what to expect. My first two interviews were with other Digital Solutions Designers, which I only found out when the call started. There wasn't even an initial chat with HR. Actually, the second person I talked to was listed as HR on SmartRecruiter, so it was weird to go straight into another technical chat. Those first two went pretty well, and I was into the company, but there were some concerning things like no salary talk, both interviewers were new, and they asked if I was okay working odd hours for clients in Europe/Asia. My last interview with the team manager and another corporate person was awful. Even if they offered me the job, I would have said no and I definitely wouldn't apply again. This was the only video call, but only the manager had their camera on. The other guy sounded like he was in a restaurant during lunch. The manager asked really unclear questions and seemed irritated when my answers weren't more specific, saying stuff like, "Let's go a little deeper" instead of asking for specific examples. He seemed young, pretentious, and kind of rude, like he doubted my resume. This last interview left a bad impression, and combined with the other issues and disorganization, I'm totally not interested in this company anymore.

I interviewed at Medable for a Frontend Developer role needing at least 2 years of experience. The whole thing took about two weeks. First, there was a Hackerrank coding test. Then, I had two technical interviews: one with the senior frontend dev from the Indian team and another with the Tech lead from the USA team. The last interview was with the director of engineering (Indian team). The process was pretty quick and went smoothly.
