It was a really efficient interview process, with quite a few stages. Since everything was online during lockdown, it was a bit strange to start a new job in 2022 without meeting any of the people I'd be working with directly. From what I understand, this is still how it's done – you start without even meeting your store manager. But aside from that, the interview was actually fun and didn't feel like a typical job interview.

We started with a group interview where I had to pretend to sell a product to one of the employees who was acting as a customer. I felt like I nailed it. Then came the one-on-one chat. With 15 years in service and being a qualified makeup artist, I usually feel pretty good after interviews, and this time was no exception.

it was a fairly easy video interview and it was a group interview so do your best to stand out. The questions involved scenarios and basic knowledge on store products. Sales experience is pretty beneficial as well as understanding key performance indicators.
