First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meaden & Moore.
Forensic Accounting Intern
First, there was a general HR screening call. Then, a Teams call with two interviewers where they asked mostly behavioral questions. Just have a plan and you'll be fine.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- How do you function within a team environment?
- What motivates your interest in joining our company?
Assurance and Tax Intern
It was a two-step interview process where I met with two different people. They asked me general questions about myself, my strengths and weaknesses, and why I chose to major in Accounting. The atmosphere was very relaxed and they made me feel comfortable.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What motivated your decision to major in Accounting?
- Could you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
Staff Accountant
Sent resume online and after two days I was called for an interview. After arriving I had to fill out a long application and a personality test. The interview lasted around one hour. General questions reviewing the resume and a couple of behavioral questions. It was a good experience but not job offer.
- Why do you want to work here?
Investigative Accountant
I got invited for an on-campus interview a few days after the career fair. It was with the same person I met at the career fair. They were very friendly, but didn't seem very interested when I asked about data analytics.
- Could you describe what makes a good manager?
- What's your usual approach to dealing with a class project?
