First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ME Engineers.
Mechanical Engineer Intern
I found them at a career fair and then got an email for an interview. There were two people in the Zoom meeting where they asked about my courses and just got to know me.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced a challenge working in a team?
Engineer
It was a pretty chill interview, they seemed to care about what I did in my classes and also in clubs outside of academics. The whole thing took less than an hour and it went by fast, I'd say it's a good idea to have some key things you want to share.
- What made you decide to join ASHRAE?
Computer Aided Drafter
I interviewed with some key people on the team, just to see if I'd be a good fit personality-wise and skill-wise. They seem like really nice people and the environment felt good. It's a pretty big company, and there are associates who manage different departments. The interview itself was pretty simple and straightforward. They want to see that you know your stuff and can be flexible.
- How many years of experience do you have with Revit
Systems Engineer
The interview process was nice and very friendly, with a calm atmosphere. There were three rounds in total. They asked simple technical questions, along with questions based on my resume. Puzzle questions similar to those found on GeeksforGeeks were also part of the process. It's recommended to prepare for some HR questions in advance.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Can you discuss some of the experiences from your resume?
- Do you have an answer for any puzzle questions?
