It started with a recruiter call, then a phone interview and an in-person meeting with two leaders. There was also a final HR interview to discuss company culture. The process moved quickly. The interviews were in a small office with limited space, but we managed. I felt a good connection with the people I spoke with, both on the phone and in person. They talked about the company and the product, and I explained how I could contribute. The phone interviewer had to leave early for a support issue, which I understood and even offered to help with. I felt great after it all.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was a ridiculous, drawn-out, unorganized interview process. I first interviewed in August 2015 and they strung me along for 2 months, saying I was a top candidate. I gave them confidential work samples, which was probably their plan all along. The final interviews with the CEO and COO were very telling. I had to keep following up with the procurement VP about interview dates, which changed 3 times after being set. She wasn't aware, so she told me it would be the next day, but it was canceled last minute as it was supposed to start, and I was never informed. My time was clearly not as valuable as theirs. It was obvious from talking to the executives and CEO that they have no idea how to run a company or screen talent. They seem dysfunctional and unaware. The CEO didn't even know the company's top risks. After months of being blown off, in December 2015 (a 5-month process!), the procurement VP emailed me (not HR) to say I wasn't qualified for the role I was being considered for. The kicker? I received an offer for that exact role from a much larger, more stable company. This place is a clear sign of poor management, definitely not leadership.

Communication was bad throughout the whole process. The phone screen was the first step and they mentioned a face-to-face interview then. The recruiter didn't send the confirmation email, so I wasn't sure if I should go. The recruiter seemed nice at first but then disappeared. Communication is key in HR, especially at a company with low employee engagement. It's no surprise that key HR people left, leaving a big gap. Good luck if you get hired.

I found the job on a website and got a call back within 2 days. They did a quick phone screen, and I passed that. Then I was invited for another interview. When I got there, I had to wait about 35 minutes, partly to fill out an application and then for a room to be ready. I met with the Manager, who was on her phone a lot before, during, and after our chat. The interview itself was alright, but it was unprofessional that management didn't follow up about my application status.
