Lease Consultant
There were supposed to be three interviews total, but I only made it to the second one. The first interview went really well, it was mainly to check my team fit and see if my values matched the company's. The second interview was more focused and with the head of the team. That's when I realized the job wasn't really for me and that I lacked negotiation experience. I had hoped they might still consider me, but I get why they decided against it.
- Could you share what you know about our company and this specific role?
Project Control Specialist
The scheduled interview didn't happen because the interviewer didn't show up. I had to contact the HR person who set it up, and after she messaged them, there was still no response. Then, I had a culture call where they just asked about my high school self, my proudest accomplishment, and similar personal questions. It wasn't about my professional background at all, just about me as a person. A few hours after that, I got an email saying they chose another candidate. I inquired about another role I applied for with the company but never received a response. It felt really unprofessional overall. They told me I was a good fit for both positions, but then I was ghosted.
- Tell me about yourself in high school. What's your biggest accomplishment (not family related)?
Site Acquisition Consultant
The interview was split into four distinct phases, where I met with different company reps. The first meeting was pretty general, I introduced myself and got an overview of the business and company history. Later on, the phases got more technical, digging into job specifics and company goals.
- How do you see yourself contributing technically to our company?
- Beyond the technical aspects, how do you believe you can contribute to the company overall?
- Tell me about your expertise in the renewable energy sector.
Documentation and Training Specialist
Applied online, then got a call and an interview was set up. On the interview day, I got there early but had to wait a long time for the interviewer. The interview itself was about 30-40 minutes, and they said a decision would be made that week. After that, the Hiring Manager totally ghosted me. I followed up the next morning about my interest and pleasure in meeting her, but got no reply. I tried following up again a few days later and still heard nothing. It was a really unprofessional way to handle things, showing little respect for my time.
- Could you describe the skills and experience you have that would enable you to fulfill the job requirements?
