I went through the initial interview process and seemed to be paired up with great people. Answered basic questions regarding background and technical understanding and spoke to the team manager a few times. However, I went through 3 rounds of interviewing but never heard back from HR. Asked for follow-up every few weeks but was only informed that "The Hiring Manager has not made a decision yet"... After 3 months? Not sure if the position was filled or cancelled, but seems like I may have dodged a bullet seeing how potential employees are treated by HR. I value transparency, so if a company can't keep its word on the simplest things like providing an update on a job in a timely manner, then red flags begin waving. I hope that they were able to find the right candidate as it doesn't feel good being ghosted by such a reputable company.

I was contacted by the lab PI via email. She responded and linked me up with the hiring manager. There were 3 rounds of interviews: the first was a panel with lab members to talk about my background and experience, the second was a technical discussion about my data science experience with a data scientist, and the third was to see if I was a good fit for the lab with the PI.

The interview process involved two rounds. The first round focused on discussing past experiences, including the tools and methods utilized in previous projects. The second round required presenting research projects to the entire team, followed by general interview questions. While the process was pleasant, there were no further updates after the interviews.
