& Process

This was the longest application process I've ever been through. Most questions were typical scenario-based ones, but some were specific to this company. They also asked for two writing samples: a report after the first interview and a BIP. Throughout the month-long process, HR was supposed to schedule times to talk more, but they'd miss the scheduled time without any explanation and then be impossible to reach for a week. There was clearly a lot of confusion between HR and everyone else involved in hiring. After the whole month, HR finally got back to me to say they weren't actually hiring for the role because they'd filled it internally.

It was a 2-stage interview process. First, I spoke with someone who I think was a clinical supervisor. Then, I had a second interview with an HR person. The second interview was way more personal and less by-the-book than the first one. The interviewer really seemed to want to connect with me and get a sense of me as a person and how I'd fit in with the company.

The interview process was very informative and it felt like I was having a deep conversation with professionals in the field. I had two interviews both were group interviews. It did not feel like we were competing for a position and I left the room feeling very confident of the company and its goals.

It was a pretty casual process, but they covered all the bases. I had two group interviews. They let us know beforehand that we weren't up against each other for the same spot, which was nice. They asked some good questions and really seemed to create a welcoming, family-like environment.
