The interview process was comprehensive and included multiple steps, which I appreciated as it allowed me the opportunity to learn multiple perspectives. This was communicated to me upfront from the recruiter, who did a really good job of keeping me in the loop and guiding the process. One of the rounds was pretty conversational and actually gave me a sense of what working with these folks would be like. There was also a bit more intense/technical round that was a good experience all in all.

The interview process at MCRA, which spanned from November 2023 to March 2024, was quite lengthy. Initially, I was really looking forward to joining the company, but the experience ended up being quite disappointing. They kept changing the process, adding more interviews along the way, and eventually put the role on indefinite hold. I never received any final decision on the position and felt they didn't respect my time. I hope others don't have to go through a similar situation.

I had the chance to meet with MCRA's clinical team in DC about a clinical project manager role. The whole process was super organized, ran smoothly, and was very professional. Right when I got there, you could tell it's a great company. They welcomed me warmly and were really courteous the whole time. The interview felt more like a real, honest chat than just questions and answers, so we could all talk and get to know each other. I was really impressed with everyone I met. It was clear how dedicated and passionate the MCRA team is about their work, and how management is committed to a collaborative, constructive, and rewarding environment. I put 'easy' because of the limited options, but 'intellectually challenging' would be better because the conversation was engaging and substantial.

This interview process was really disorganized and unprofessional. The GM asked illegal questions and didn't do the phone interviews when they said they would. They were late for the 1-on-1 interview, and I ended up waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes with nowhere to sit. It felt like the whole process was an inconvenience for them. They had a condescending attitude, and the work culture seemed like something out of a bad movie. A lot of the workers were nice, but they didn't seem happy. A couple of them mentioned not having enough resources and the lack of future budget planning to address issues through budget allocation. Staff didn't have any input. I'd avoid this company.
