The interview process was typical for my professional experience. Currently, there's one interview conducted by either the Front Office Manager or the Assistant General Manager. Depending on the company's needs and your interview performance, you might receive an on-the-spot offer or hear back within a few days.

The interview process felt disorganized with poor communication before, during, and after. I was flown to New York and mostly met with associates from other departments, seemingly to show off the company culture. It seemed like they expected long hours and poor work-life balance. The compensation offered was significantly lower than market rate for this position. On the day of the visit, I only had five minutes with the direct hiring manager, who had scheduled the visit, and it was the only in-person interaction I had with him. Travel expenses were not reimbursed. Despite several polite follow-ups to HR and the hiring manager, I never got a response. A few people in my industry also independently advised me to be cautious about the company, which matched my own experience. Overall, it was a disappointing process and didn't show the professionalism I'd expect at this level.

It was a really simple process. They keep your CV for future openings, mostly to cover for other receptionists until a permanent position opens up, so they'll likely offer you the job. The interview itself was easy, and Gabriela made me feel comfortable.

It was fine. I had a basic phone interview with a friendly woman. Soon after, I got an email for a second phone interview and scheduled it. I prepared for it over the next few days, but when I joined the call, I was told the position was filled. That's okay, it happens. But I don't get why they didn't just email me to cancel and say they'd chosen someone else instead of making me prep for it just to be rejected. The woman then asked if I was interested in other properties. When I said yes, she immediately told me I wasn't qualified. She said she'd call me back soon about another role, and I never heard from her.
