First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MCPc.
Project Coordinator
I applied for a Project Coordinator job and MCPc got in touch the next week. They scheduled me for a phone interview on Wednesday, but the recruiter forgot to call. After I emailed them, we rescheduled for Thursday. The phone interview went fine, lasting about 40 minutes with typical questions like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why do you want this job'. I found out the role was actually with a different company that MCPc works with, which wasn't mentioned in the job post or on MCPc's site. The recruiter said I seemed like a good fit and would get back to me the following week, but I never heard back, even after I followed up.
- Why are you a good fit for this position?
Technician
I got a recommendation from a friend and the hiring manager called me. They sent an application via email and asked me to send my resume back. Then, they told me to come to the office (it was downtown at the Plain Dealer building on e 24th and Superior ave) dressed business casual for an interview scheduled two days later. It was a really simple process. I followed their instructions, and after the interview, I joined a few other candidates who were also hired to start orientation in the Tech Lab.
- Can you go over your resume with me?
- How well do you think you fit this role?
- What is your flexibility like?
Customer Service Representative
It started with a phone call that lasted around 20 minutes. After that, they set up an in-person meeting where I spoke with both HR and the department manager. This second interview went on for close to two hours. They looked over my entire work history, exactly as it's written on my resume. On the plus side, everyone I met was really nice, professional, and easy to chat with.
- What appliance would you be and why?
Configuration Technician
I was contacted by a recruiter from a staffing agency who was very unprofessional, even belching during the phone screen. They confused me with someone else and didn't seem to take any notes. The call came from an out-of-state number and they never identified themselves as a staffing agency, making the whole interaction feel sketchy and possibly fake.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
