The interview felt pretty generic, and the staff were nice enough. They talked more about their own wins and managing people than the company's actual work or projects, which gave off a vibe that they were all about themselves and didn't pay much attention to employees or anyone else. The hiring manager also threw me off by offering me three different jobs right then and there and expecting me to pick one. It was all a bit jumbled and not very clear.

I applied by emailing my resume and cover letter to the hiring manager and then got called in for an interview at the office. Once I got there, they made me fill out an application form, which was weird since that could have been done online. It's worth mentioning that McNeil Gray and Rice doesn't have an HR department. The interview itself went fine. But at the end, instead of walking me out and shaking my hand, the interviewer just walked around the front desk without saying goodbye. This made me question if I wanted to work there, especially since the job description seemed misleading. Even though the title is publicist, it's basically a cold calling job. I regret not checking Glassdoor beforehand. I followed up a few weeks later about an update, but never heard back. Given how outdated their website looks, I'd advise against applying.

Had a 30 min phone call. It was pretty laid back, and they asked some easy, straightforward questions about my background and previous experience. I was offered the position right on the call and they gave me some time to think about it. There wasn't any follow-up interview.
