They flew me out to Chicago and put me up in a nice hotel. They took me and a few of the other recruits out to dinner the night before. Then, we got the opportunity the day of to tour their facility. There were two interviews with different leaders/managers, and that was about it. Typical behavioral questions.

I applied online through my school and got contacted by a recruiter. They gave me some general company info and asked if I wanted to do a quick phone interview right then, which I did. The recruiter went over my resume and asked some questions. A week later, the recruiter called back to schedule an on-site interview for the following week. I had a tour, two 1-hour interviews, lunch, and then two more 1-hour interviews. The interviews were mostly about fit and they asked the same questions repeatedly. I mostly asked my own questions because they couldn't answer much about the role or career path, and I realized 'Management Development' meant Operations and 'Systems' meant IT, not rotations as I thought. A week after the interview, I received a letter saying they were going in a different direction and wouldn't offer me the role. Everyone I spoke to was impressive, and McMaster recruits from top schools, but it's all about fit with their company culture.
