First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at McKim and Creed.
Project Engineer
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. We scheduled a phone screening, and she mentioned the hiring managers wanted to do a virtual interview. The virtual interview seemed to go well, and they said they'd be in touch the following week. After not hearing back, I followed up with the recruiter but received no response from anyone. It was very unprofessional.
- What's your approach to learning new things?
Land Survey Technician
The interview process was great! Very easy to talk to and personable. They answered all of my questions. HR promptly got back to me after the interview to follow up. It was a very pleasant interview, no complaints.
- What draws you to this role?
Senior Electrical Engineer
The interview process was quite messy and disorganized, with some interviewers not sticking to scheduled times. If you're knowledgeable, it felt more like a casual chat rather than a rigorous evaluation. Overall, it was an easy conversation.

- Explain your understanding of design and relevant codes.

The whole hiring process took about 12 weeks from application to offer. It included an initial application, several phone interviews, an in-person interview, a meeting with the manager and team, and finally a call and conversation with the CEO before a job offer was extended.
