McKesson Financial Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

So I had this interview over Microsoft Teams, it was basically a phone screening with a recruiter at McKesson in Montreal. We chatted about my background and experience, and she also asked about my salary expectations.

I applied online in mid-July 2017. About 10 days later, HR called me for a phone screening. A week after that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Two weeks went by before they scheduled me for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. It was pretty casual and included 30 minutes with a peer who had just started a couple of months before. The hiring manager was also new to the company and healthcare. The questions weren't standard in-person ones, like 'who would you have dinner with?'. I sent a thank you and a follow-up email, but then got a system-generated rejection over two weeks later. It took almost 2 months from applying to getting rejected. My background seemed to match, and the interviewer agreed, but I'm not sure what changed their minds.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It involved a single day of conversations with several Managers and potential teammates. They asked some basic questions and I got hired within a few days.
