Applied in Oct 2025 and didnt hear back for 6 weeks. Had a quick hr interview, then a meeting with the hiring manager. From there it was 2 panel interviews and then 3 meetings with a VP, Director and someone else. Then I was told the role was put on hold. McKesson doesnt tell you the travel requirements upfront. Happy I didnt get the role as travel is 50%.

I interviewed last year for a director-level role and the process was really great - they were responsive, professional, and transparent. It turned out though that the salary range they posted on their website was NOT the salary range for the job. It was significantly less, so that's not cool. Make sure you confirm salary range with a person before wasting a few hours interviewing.

The interview process was completely unprofessional. I interviewed with McKesson in Irving, TX twice, and both times were bad experiences. More recently, in mid-2019, I had an initial phone screen with HR that went well. Then, they brought me on site for three interviews with the person I would be replacing and some of the co-workers I would work with daily. The interviews themselves went well, but I thought it was strange and unprofessional that no one from HR met me in the lobby, and no one assisted me after the interviews were done. After a couple of weeks with no feedback, I emailed the HR recruiter but got no response. I waited another week, called, and left a message, but there was total radio silence. I took a vacation day from my current job and adjusted my schedule for them, only to be ghosted for the second time in two years after multiple interview rounds. While I've seen other positions at McKesson I'm qualified for, I don't want to work for a company that treats interviewees so poorly.
