Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at McKesson.
Business Analyst
The interview process was quite simple and the questions weren't too hard. There were two main parts to the interview: first talking to HR, and then talking to the manager. I didn't end up getting an offer, but overall it was a good interview experience.
- Can you describe your approach to prioritizing requirements?
Business Analyst
The interview process was really straightforward. I had two friendly interviewers who answered all my questions. The interview was at the Alpharetta, GA office and didn't last more than an hour. Since I was applying for an intern position, they didn't expect me to know a lot. I got a call with an offer by the end of the day. My overall experience was positive, and the job experience was even better. I'd definitely work for them again.
- What technologies have you previously worked with?
- Can you describe a time you had to handle uncooperative team members?
Business Systems Analyst
I applied online and had an employee referral. HR reached out about three weeks later to set up an interview. The HR interview was pretty standard, covering my application and the job description. HR contacted me again a few days after that to schedule an interview with the manager. My second phone interview was with the manager and another team member. They explained the systems analyst role and asked me behavioral questions about teamwork. The next day, HR offered me the job. Typically, there's a panel interview with colleagues, but they needed someone urgently, and since I applied during the holidays, I skipped that part.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Tell me about your experience working in a team.
