The final interview felt rushed, like it was just a box to tick. The interviewer seemed to have already decided before we even started, making it feel like a formality. This was different from the earlier interview where the interviewer was more engaged and conversational.

I applied for the Pricing Analyst position in early August 2025, right after it was posted. Within 24 hours, I got an automated rejection email, likely from Workday’s AI. A few weeks later, a recruiter reached out about the same job and asked me to apply. I told them I'd already applied and got no real response. Then, my application status changed from 'Rejected' back to 'Under Consideration.' The recruiter said they'd be in touch, but months went by with no word. I got another rejection email for the same role without ever interviewing. Being rejected twice was confusing and frustrating. After months of silence, the recruiter contacted me again, wanting me to fill out a form about salary expectations, relocation preferences, and homeownership—stuff I'd already given them. They wanted this info within 24 hours after months of silence, which felt aggressive. I told the recruiter I was frustrated with the lack of transparency. A week later, the hiring manager contacted me directly and set up an interview. He was responsive and professional. I asked why the role had been open for almost three months, and he said they hadn't found the right candidate yet. He mentioned I'd meet two more team members and then have an in-person interview. The recruiter also followed up, asking about my salary again and telling me to check out the company benefits. I did the second and third interviews with the hiring manager’s team, but then communication stopped again. Even after I followed up with the hiring manager, no response. Weeks later, I got another rejection email. This whole experience was really disappointing. Getting rejected multiple times for the same job, dealing with months of silence, and having to resubmit information shows a lack of respect for candidates. The process was way too long, drawn out, and disorganized. It's discouraging that talented people go through such an exhausting and unclear process. The fact that this job has been open for over 90 days says a lot. Columbus has many qualified pricing professionals, but the hiring team is looking for a 'perfect' candidate instead of looking at their own process and leadership. This lack of accountability and transparency hurts the company's reputation and makes good candidates hesitant to apply.

The interview process included an initial chat with the HR from the hiring agency, followed by a conversation with the manager. Both interactions were positive, and the manager focused on experience-related queries. Technical skills were not assessed.
