The process was really smooth. I talked about MMA, history, and stuff. It was just like any other interview, so I wouldn't stress too much about preparing, just be yourself! Everyone I met during the interviews was super nice.

I went through three interviews for this role, with the final one being quite long, over two hours. I felt good about all of them and was pretty confident I'd get an offer. When the offer did come, it was lower than I expected for the skills and dedication they were asking for, especially considering things like using my personal car and phone, and being on call a few times a year, even though those would be reimbursed. I tried to negotiate, but they rescinded the offer, saying I wasn't a good fit anymore. I was really disappointed because I was excited about the job.

The whole interview thing took about a month plus because of the holidays, Christmas and New Years. I applied and got an interview email the same day. They were super flexible and even offered after-hours interviews for rounds two and three, which was awesome. So, round one was a quick phone screen with the recruiter. Then, four days later, I had a solid hour-long interview with the Senior Vice President of Operations. We ended up chatting and joking a lot, so it was fun. By the end, I got a verbal offer, but they wanted the team to meet me too. Round three got pushed a bit because of the holidays, but the team reached out to say they'd interview me in early January. This one also went long, about 50 minutes, and we had a great chat. Got the official call and written offer about a week after that. Honestly, a really great experience with super nice people! The recruiter was always on top of responding to my follow-up emails.
