It was a friendly and conversational interview process, which was nice. However, it went on for five separate conversations, which is a lot for a candidate. It would be great to get feedback at the end since candidates put in a lot of time and effort.

I had a first phone call with a great HR person. We talked about the job and the interview process. They gave me tips on how to present myself and said they could help later too. Then I met my potential manager and a VP for an hour. We chatted about my career, the role, and what the job and training are like. After that, I did a sales pitch with three team members. I also got to learn about the team culture. Then I spoke with someone currently in the role to understand the day-to-day and ask anything. I was in the middle of setting up a shadowing day, but they were also considering another person. I didn't get the job because my past experience didn't quite match, and they thought the other candidate was a better fit. I felt like they really cared about finding the right fit for both me and the company.

The process involves several interviews. It starts with a district manager, then a regional manager, and finally the VP of sales. They're assessing critical thinking and looking for candidates with an upbeat, very enthusiastic, A-type personality. Asking a lot of questions is encouraged to gauge your critical thinking. They also expect an aggressive close, and you'll need to demonstrate strong follow-up and phone call skills. Time management is also evaluated, and they check your driving record.
