It was a three-step process: first HR, then the hiring manager, and finally the VP, who was the last person I interviewed with. I never heard back, not even an email saying I didn't get the job. It's pretty disappointing and unprofessional not to get any communication after a final interview.

The recruiter called me at the arranged time. Right from the start, it felt like she just wanted to ask questions and didn't really want me to lead the conversation or ask about the company and the role. That was okay. But then, about 15 minutes in, she started telling me about her broken foot and all that. I thought it was maybe a test of my conversational skills, so I just went with it. Then she started talking about her granddaughter's gymnastics. By the 45-minute mark, most of the time had been spent on her personal stories. I've never had an interview like this before, and it didn't really give me a good impression of the company.
