First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at McGlinchey Stafford.
Associate Attorney
It was the worst interview process I've been through. There were three separate one-hour interviews where they asked the exact same questions. I got a bad vibe about the company culture from the start, right from the front desk staff to the partners.
- What made you decide to apply for this particular position?
Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Interviewing with McGlinchey was really easy. I liked meeting the recruiting team and people from HR. The hiring manager was super clear about what they expected and the job itself. They were flexible with scheduling, which I appreciated. I'd totally recommend this company.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Legal Intern
The interview was in person and I met with a managing partner and two associates. It was pretty low-key and felt like a normal conversation. Honestly, this was my favorite interview out of the five I attended.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Law Clerk
They look for candidates with great law school grades and writing samples. It's a plus if you have law review or law journal experience, especially published work. They also value well-rounded law students who are easy to work with.
- Tell me about your specific interests within the field of law and the reasons behind them.
