The hiring process was really quick and I got an offer fast. It wasn't a bad experience overall, and I feel neutral about the offer. They asked some tough questions, but it felt like they were being honest. Two people interviewed me, and it was conducted over Teams.

HR called to set-up a phone screen interview with the Director. The phone screen went well, covering my background and past work. An in-person interview was then scheduled. It was a friendly interview with a panel of the Director, Manager, and an Engineer who were interested in my profile. They showed me the office, departments, cubicles, and pantry, and I met all the staff. I was asked to bring work samples, so I emailed some and brought hard copies of design drawings. HR mentioned they would contact me in two weeks as the profile needed final acceptance from City of Charlotte officials. I later received a rejection email from HR, which was disappointing, but overall the experience was okay.
