Behavioral Technical Presentation

So, I started with the usual recruiter screening call, you know, the basic stuff. Then, about a week later, I had a video interview with the technical manager, lasted about 30 minutes, mostly talking about my technical background. Another week passed, and I had another 30-minute video call with a consulting manager, this one was to see if I'd be a good fit for consulting. The last step was a video call, about an hour long, where I had to give a 15-20 minute presentation on a technical project I worked on. This was to a group of about 6-8 people, and they asked questions about the project and my experience afterwards. The whole thing took about a month.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Please prepare and deliver a 15-20 minute slide presentation detailing a recent professional project you've been involved in. If you don't have professional experience, an academic project is fine.

Behavioral Technical

Applied via LinkedIn and the recruiter messaged me for my availability. I gave my availability, and he called me asking if I could interview on a day I stated I wasn't available. This was the first contact, no formal intro or job role review. I said I wasn't available, and he asked about the afternoon. I agreed, and he scheduled an interview with a solution architect 2.5 hours later. It was a technical interview, pretty straightforward. About 30 mins after that, the recruiter scheduled another round with the MD two days later. No feedback on the previous interview or details about the role/salary. I emailed the recruiter the next day asking about the next round. No response. I called him, and he cut me off. The interview was set for 10:30 am, but I got a cancellation email saying the position was closed. Very unprofessional experience.

We started with a screening chat. Then, there was a technical interview to gauge my skills. After that, we had a chat about cultural fit. The final step was a presentation I gave to a group of six people who work here at different levels.
