First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MBX Systems.
Assembly Technician
The interview was very forthright. There was a verbal part and an assembly part. The verbal part was straightforward, pretty much par for the course. The assembly part involved a timed attempt at assembling server components with instructions on a computer monitor.
- Can you share some past experiences working with technology and components?
Inside Sales Representative
I sent my resume and they got back to me the same day. They scheduled a recruiter interview for me 2 days later. The interview was about 30 minutes long, and they mentioned they would send assessments and asked for my availability for the next rounds. However, I haven't heard back from them since, which is really odd and disappointing.
- Is remote work something you're comfortable with?
- What are your career aspirations for your next role?
- What kind of work environment are you seeking?
Vendor Manager
Talent Manager reached out a week after I applied online. The VP phone interview was set for the week after. Then, there was a video interview with the VP and COO, though the COO couldn't make it. The whole process was well-organized and detailed, showing how the company runs things. Everyone was on time, responsive, and direct. It was a really good experience.
- Are there any standard interview questions you'd like to ask, or anything out of the ordinary?
Manufacturing Supervisor
Saw the job on a job board, sent my resume. About two weeks later, I chatted with the HR recruiter, and we set up a 30-minute phone call. They said I seemed like a good fit for an in-person interview. The next day, they set that up. I met with the operations director and the manufacturing manager. Both were really professional, business-focused, and smart. The vibe there was pretty relaxed and comfortable. It's been about a week, and the same HR recruiter called to say they needed someone with more experience. It's a shame, I really thought from what I saw and read that this place would be great to work for.
- Can you identify two qualifications from the job posting that you believe align well with your skills?
