The interview process was pretty standard and felt efficient. Even though it took a bit longer than it should have, and there were times when I didn't hear anything for a while, I did get an offer once the client gave the go-ahead. Everything was done online.
- Could you share your experience working with the Federal government?
Cyber Security Engineer Manager
The hiring process was smooth overall, covering technical, managerial, and behavioral aspects over a 30-minute period. I was interviewed by two people who asked me about my technical skills and past accomplishments with Splunk. They also inquired about relevant certifications, my key strengths, my approach to work ethic, and how my client deliverables reflect MBL Technologies.
- Tell me about your technical background with Splunk.
- Discuss your work ethic and your contributions as a team player.

It was a laid-back interview, not stressful at all. A big part of it seemed to be figuring out what kind of work I'm good with and how I operate on my own. I talked with two senior managers, and they were both really open to answering anything I asked. They did a nice job explaining the company and what working there could be like for me.
- Can you describe your communication preferences, for example, do you lean more towards email or phone conversations?
- Do you find you work better on your own or as part of a team?
Data Entry Clerk
The interview was text-based, which was unusual for me. I haven't interviewed via text before, so I was and still am a bit doubtful, especially since they want to send me a check for software and have me deposit it.
- What makes you want this job?
