Technical Other

The team was completely inflexible with scheduling for in-person interviews. My car broke down the day before my interview. The office was out of town and as a broke college student, Uber was out of the question - especially since they refused to share the salary range. When I reached out to see if we could reschedule to a later date, they refused to see me if it wasn't on that specific interview date and time. Makes you wonder how they treat their employees.

Behavioral Technical Other

Had an on-campus interview with a recruiter who was an alum of my university. They asked me to send a brief "thank you" note after the interview, basically another cover letter, explaining why I was still interested in working for them. Got a call back over a month later to schedule a power day, which included about 6 one-on-one interviews with people from different parts of the company, plus a really easy math quiz and an IQ test. Received an offer within two days. There were no quantitative or case study questions, it was pretty much all fit and resume review.

Behavioral Technical

I applied through my college's career website and got invited to a first-round interview on campus. It lasted about half an hour and was pretty relaxed. It felt like they used the first round to sell you on why you'd want to work at MBI. They asked a couple of basic behavioral questions, and if you have a general idea of what MBI does and why you might want to work there, you should be good. I heard back about 1-2 weeks later and was invited to their HQ in Connecticut for a super-day. They started me with a supervised employment aptitude test, and then I had individual interviews with 4 higher-ups. Each interview was about 30-45 minutes, and they were all behavioral. Most of the questions I was asked were already listed on Glassdoor.

Case Presentation

I was recruited through my university and had an interview there, then went to a second round on-site interview. Nothing unexpected, but it's a long day-- they pass you off rather quickly between various VPs. You should bring some water for your down time! Norwalk, CT is also rather inconvenient if you are traveling there to interview.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They had me do a short marketing case.
