& Process

I had two phone interviews with a principal. After those, we set up an in-person interview where I met the whole team: Principal, Senior Manager, Manager, and Audit Senior. The main goal of that interview was to see if everyone got along and if there was professional chemistry.

I applied through walks-in for a Software QA Engineer role. The process included an online test, a manual testing round, an automation testing round, and a combined automation and manual testing practical round. I cleared all initial rounds and proceeded to the automation testing practical round, where I built a framework and executed various scenarios. After two days with no feedback, I inquired and was told the position was on hold and asked to return for another practical round. This time, I completed both manual and automation practical assessments, which involved creating a framework, running Selenium scripts, and writing manual test cases. Following this, there was again no response for two days. In total, I attended four interview sessions, spending 4-5 hours each time. Ultimately, I was informed that my profile didn't meet their requirements, leaving me unsure of their expectations despite my best efforts to succeed in all stages.

Got referred by someone to the HR director who then called me. We met up at an Ale house one day after work since we both lived near it. This was basically a screening to set up an interview with the department manager. I met with the department manager later that week. The questions were pretty basic.

I submitted my resume at a career fair at school and got an interview invitation. First, the interviewer told me about the company and position. Then they asked me to introduce myself and asked me some behavioral questions. Finally, they asked about my preference for the location.
