I applied online and got an email to set up a phone screen shortly after. The recruiter asked me one question and spent the rest of the time reading the job description and asking if I was still interested. Then she moved me onto the next round, which was a video interview with the hiring manager. She asked me questions that I had no experience with and my resume didn't indicate that I had experience with these things either. I felt like if the recruiter had asked me more questions, she would've seen that I wasn't the right fit.

The whole hiring thing took about 3 to 4 weeks. They were nice, and the interviews weren't too tough, mostly just talking. I'm glad I didn't end up taking the job though. The pay was alright and they let you lease a new car for practically nothing, but I got another offer that pays over $25k more for the same work. I'd rather have the extra cash than the car.

I applied for the job and the recruiter hit me up the next day. The in-person interview was scheduled for 30 days later at a pretty run-down regional office in Irvine. The building was super old, and the receptionist was not friendly. The vibe of the company just didn't feel right. I met with four of the main regional partners, and they seemed really chill and not very engaged. It feels like the company isn't run professionally, which is why I think they aren't doing too well in the industry. If you've worked for a bigger car company before, you'll probably be let down here. They said I'd hear back in 7-10 days, but it actually took 17 business days.

I found this internship online and applied through the Mazda USA website. I got an email from the recruitment person to set up a phone interview with them. Then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Since I wasn't in the area yet, I didn't do an in-person interview. They did an extensive background check and drug test. Once everything checked out, they offered me the position.
