First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mazda.
Sales Associate
I had a chat with the interviewer about the job and what's expected of sales associates. We also talked about what you're good at and what might be tough in the role. They also went over the pay setup and gave some ideas about what you could make based on sales.
- Tell me about your previous jobs and which of your skills would be useful here.
- What did you do in your past jobs and what skills do you think you can bring to this role?
Analytics Manager
It was a really informal process. They were looking for someone with a very specific background and told me during the interview that I didn't fit what they needed. The company feels pretty small, like a startup, even though it's been around for a while.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
- What experience do you have in analytics?
- How would you approach managing large stocks?
Corporate Planner
The interview included a self-introduction, followed by questions about my background. We discussed the job scope and office environment. Company benefits and background information were also covered. The interviewers were friendly, and the interview itself wasn't too challenging.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you tell me about your academic history?
Remarketing Manager
The process included a recruiter call, interviews with hiring managers, and team members. Three interviews were conducted. There was no callback after the interviews. HR and the agent were contacted for follow-ups, and emails and promises for call backs were received, but nothing was delivered. Mazda Canada should follow up with applicants directly, as the agency used is very unprofessional and never responds to emails.
- Could you tell me about the types of questions that were asked?
