First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mazars Consulting.
Consultant
It was a tough interview process, but ultimately a really good one because it made me think hard and question my own approaches and decisions. It was intellectually stimulating.
- How does the current geopolitical situation affect our business?
Tax Consultant
So, I had a total of 2 personal interviews. The first part involved 2 paper-based tests. One was a general knowledge test, and the other was a use case for solving a tax-related problem. The questions in the test weren't directly related, but the use case did require some taxation knowledge.
- Given an English use case, provide tax advice.
Intern
After the initial screening, I went through a single interview round with two analysts. A few weeks later, I received the final decision via email. The interview covered basic accounting queries, like the three financial statements and IFRS, alongside some personality-based fit questions.
- Can you explain the three financial statements?
- Can you describe the three FS?
Graduate Scheme
The interview process was good overall. They ask the standard competency based questions as well as the questions that assess motivation. They offer the interview after you complete the online assessments. The interviewer does a good job at making you feel relaxed and making the interview feel more like a conversation.
- What are your interests regarding the qualifications you will obtain upon completion of the scheme?
