I interviewed online and got a call for a phone interview with the hiring manager in a few days. It was a quick and informative call. Then I was invited for an in-person interview with the manager and two other administrators. They gave us a list of questions beforehand, which was nice. The interview felt pretty relaxed and everyone was friendly. About a week or two later, I had to give a presentation about a project I managed. Since I don't live super close, I did it over video, which worked out well. They ended up hiring someone from within the company, but the hiring manager did call me personally to let me know and mentioned another job I might be good for. I applied for that one, but didn't even get an interview. It was a pretty good overall experience with Mayo Clinic, and they do cover mileage and parking.

It took about 3-4 weeks for them to reach out about an interview. First, there was a phone screening that lasted about 20 minutes. After that, I had a 1-hour interview with a panel of 4 people. Everyone on the panel was really nice. The panel interview focused solely on behavioral questions. It's super important to have several examples ready beforehand and to practice them.

The process was very well designed, as one might expect from a leader in the medical field. There was an HR screening interview, a panel interview with several potential peers, and finally, an interview with a person from the leadership team.
