The interview process began with a self-recorded HireVue interview, which I was able to skip because I had recently received and declined a job offer from Mayo Clinic for an Enterprise Traveler RN role. I can't say what was on that part. Next, I had a Zoom interview with an ICU unit supervisor. This wasn't a long interview and they asked me typical interview and behavioral questions that I was ready for. After those questions, they gave me three clinical scenarios. I had to explain what was happening, what needed to be assessed, and how I would handle each situation. The supervisor offered me the job at the end of the interview.

- What would you do if a comfort care patient, who is a DNR, suddenly becomes more bradycardic and hypotensive, and their family is not present?

So there were two interviews, each lasted an hour. They asked behavioral questions first and then clinical-skilled questions. You should submit a really good, long resume showing all your experiences. They recommend making it as long as you can write it, not just a one-page resume.

I found a job posting for an EP Lab Registered Nurse on Glassdoor and applied to Mayo Clinic. I got an invitation for a virtual interview within 24-48 hours because I live in NJ. The interviewer was nice and asked a few questions, listening to my answers carefully. She made me feel comfortable, so I could think clearly. Even though I didn't get the job, I learned a lot about Mayo Clinic's history and mission. I really enjoyed the interview.
