First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maybelline.
Assistant Manager
I had a quick and easy initial call, and the office was beautiful and the people were pleasant. Then I was in a meeting or interview with three people and they asked me about my experiences.
- Are you going to be good at this job?
Program Manager
The initial stage involves an introduction to the company, including its history, and an overview of the responsibilities associated with the position. This is followed by the candidate's self-introduction, where they are asked to elaborate on their career path as detailed in their resume. The process also includes questions about the candidate's resume and provides an opportunity for the candidate to ask their own questions.
- What are your aspirations for the next five years?
Sales Representative
Best interview ever, the people were super receptive and attentive, the conversation went really well and wasn't tense at all. The environment was very relaxed but very clear. There's a basic test to gauge your personality, and it's important to pay attention to the instructions, never mark X lol, other than that everything was great.
- What makes you interested in a sales career?
- What tools do you use to close a sale effectively?
Sales Representative
The initial contact was a video call, and the person was very attentive and friendly. I advanced to the second stage with the supervisor. During that interview, she was constantly interrupted to do other things, and she was also 1 hour late.
- What was your knowledge of makeup, and what sales tools could you employ?
