Traffic Manager
I got reached out to on LinkedIn by a recruiter and then had a phone interview. The next week I went into the office for interviews. They were super nice and had a great office, and seemed really skilled. The interviews went well, but I haven't heard back about their decision. I guess they picked someone else or decided not to hire anyone. They told me about a month after my interview that they didn't have budget approval for new hires and would update me in December. It's now February and I still have no idea what happened. Interviewing is tough enough, and not getting a response made me feel like my application wasn't important.
- What aspects of the job do you dislike doing every day, and what parts do you like?
- How do you handle disagreements between the account and creative teams?
Executive Design Director
The interview process typically begins with one-on-one meetings with the hiring manager, followed by discussions with the team, HR, and the ultimate decision-maker. This is the standard path, and it's how my interviews went too. It's all pretty informal and moves fast, but it's always tied to actual team needs, not just filling spots. Offers can be for contract, contract-to-hire, or permanent roles, like mine.
- What can you offer MaxMedia that you can't in your current position?
Copywriter
It was a one-on-one interview. The interviewer was very nice, and we talked a lot about the company culture and what to expect in the position. She asked simple behavioral questions and also had a small writing assignment. I submitted the assignment then never heard back. I found this to be very unprofessional.
- What are your salary requirements?
Sales and Marketing
I got a call directly and they set up an interview date. I had one interview, it was very straightforward with the owner. We had direct questions in a friendly atmosphere, and discussed the industry. Then, they introduced me to the creative designers team and showed me the recent projects they were working on.
- What can you bring to the company?
