The interview process was pretty long and detailed, taking about 2.5 months from start to finish. It kicked off with an initial phone call. If it seemed like a good fit for both sides, we moved to a second call where I was given requirements to build a solution on the Salesforce.com platform. After building the solution, there was a group review of my solution presentation. If that went well, I had an in-person interview with several people from the company. The most unique part was definitely the solution build; this project could take anywhere from 15 hours to two weeks, so you really have to invest time. They also review how you handle requirements and client interaction, essentially treating the reviewers as clients, to see your critical thinking, Salesforce.com knowledge, and consulting skills. I think it's a great way to interview because it shows how you actually work, not just how well you interview. You also get to understand the Mavens culture, which really values quality work and teamwork.

They have a pretty good interview process. It started with a phone screen, then a call to discuss the requirements for a mock Salesforce solution design. About two weeks after that, I had to do a presentation and design review of my solution. It was a good way to check technical skills, consulting abilities, and if I was a good culture fit. I met several Mavens employees and they were all really nice. It's a smaller company so you don't have to deal with recruiters or HR who don't know the industry; everyone you talk to actually works in the field. It seems like a great company with an awesome team.
