First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Maven Clinic.
Account Executive
I started with an initial interview with the Sales Manager, then I spoke with the Director of Sales, and finally with Sales Opps. There wasn't a formal presentation, it was more like just conversations. I only made it to the third round, so there might be a more specific presentation for the final round.
- What is your biggest weakness?
Account Executive
I had a phone call with the Recruiter for the Account Executive role. She skipped the small talk and directly asked me a series of questions, which she seemed to be reading from a script. There was no opportunity to build rapport or have a natural conversation. It felt more like an interrogation than a discussion, which made it hard to feel comfortable. This style might reflect how management reviews and teams operate at Maven.
- Can you describe a time you successfully sold to a Payer?
Sales Executive
I went through 5 rounds of interviews for this role. The initial ones were all one-on-one, but the final one was a mock pitch with everyone involved in the hiring. They gave me real-time feedback during the pitch and let me respond to it.
- How do you feel about traveling for work?
