& Process

The interview process was pretty standard up until the onsite interviews. I had about 2-3 phone calls with team members and the hiring manager, covering typical introductory questions and some about my experience and suitability for the role. The onsite was the more challenging part. While there wasn't one single extremely difficult element, preparing a case study with a 30-minute presentation, taking a Wonderlic test, completing a personality assessment, and then going through 4-5 interviews was a lot to handle. Everyone was very pleasant, and I got positive feedback, but I wasn't selected because of the case study. So, I'd recommend dedicating extra time to the case study preparation, going beyond just knowing how to use a pivot table and create a basic presentation deck.

This process took way too long. I first got contacted in early August for a phone interview. Then, about two weeks later, I was contacted for a second phone interview. After waiting two weeks with no response, I reached out and was told I would most likely be asked to interview in person. A few days later, I got the invite for the in-person interview. This included an "IQ" test and four 45-minute interviews. When I got there, I was put in a small room and stayed there all morning. Each interviewer came in one by one. I wasn't given a tour or any company info. One of the interviewers that day was actually the same person I had a phone interview with, so that interview was pointless and repetitive. All the interviewers asked the same things over and over. The HR person said they'd get back to me in about 4 business days, but it's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything back via email, phone, or letter. I've obviously lost interest because this company seems really disorganized and doesn't seem to care.

I had an initial screening phone interview, which included basic behavioral questions. It was pretty standard, with questions like 'why eLoyalty?' and 'What do you know about our company/product?'. It seemed like they were just screening for communication and basic competence. The second round phone interview asked more specific behavioral questions, but the tricky part was a couple logic questions. I did well on the second, but the first was tough.
