First, there were a couple of phone calls with the lead recruiter, and then one with a senior person at the company. After that, I went to Chicago for a "super day" which was pretty fast. Everyone was nice and the office was really clean. No case questions were asked.

Behavioral Case

I applied on the college website and heard back pretty fast for an on-campus interview. It started early and was brief. They asked me some questions to get a feel for my personality, then moved on to some case questions, which were new to me. I think because it was an on-campus thing, they wanted to get as many interviews done as possible. So, a rejection probably wasn't just about my interview performance, but more about my GPA and resume not being strong enough, and me not bringing anything surprising to the table during the interview.

The interview process was pretty smooth! Patrick and Katie were good with communication via phone and email. They even worked with my tight schedule for the onsite interview. The interview included a phone screen with HR, a call with the hiring manager, and a long 4-hour onsite. The onsite had a Wonderlic test, a presentation where I discussed insights from data they sent, and five 30-minute interviews with standard questions. It was a long day, but it gave a good sense of the company culture and team structure.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked me to analyze a large dataset they provided, answer specific questions about it, and prepare a presentation of my findings and insights to present to a group of 4-5 people for 30 minutes, followed by another 30 minutes of Q&A.
