Data Architect
The interview process started with a phone call with another data architect. It was supposed to be a quick 10-minute chat but ended up being a 90-minute conversation. Following that, there was an onsite interview conducted via video conference, which also lasted about 90 minutes. The onsite interview spanned three days and focused on two main areas: my experience with data modeling and a review of the current system. It's worth noting that the skills they are looking for and what the job actually involves seem to be quite different.
- Can you elaborate on your data modeling experience?
- What is your background in data querying?
- Could you share your experience with data mining?
Account Manager
The process was great, with two really good interviews. The take-home brief was challenging and fun to work on. I felt the interviewers were really enthusiastic and positive during both interviews. I felt good after both interviews because of how they spoke to me. I felt valued and wanted. It seemed like they understood that people come from different industries. They didn't assume I knew everything, and I didn't feel bad for not knowing some answers.
- Tell me about how you approached preparing the response to the brief.
- Describe your thought process when preparing the response to the brief.
Programmatic Strategy Director
It started with a meeting with the hiring manager and another Director, which was scheduled really fast. Then I went on to stage 2, a two-hour online assessment that was pretty fun but a bit nerve-wracking. After that, I met with the Managing Director and spent more time with the hiring manager. My final interview was with the SVP of East, who is the hiring manager's boss. They made an offer in under a week.
- If I were a client unfamiliar with programmatic advertising, how would you sell it to me?
- What are the reasons a client would select Cadreon instead of Google?
Marketing Analyst
So first there was a recruiter screening, then I talked to the hiring manager about the day-to-day of the job. After that, I interviewed with the Director about more general stuff related to the role. The last interview was with leadership and it was more behavioral.
- What makes you passionate about this role and why did you decide to apply?
- Why did you decide to apply for this role?
- What about this position makes you feel strongly?
