They have this crooked way of interviewing, they make you do a test first and then check if you are even a good fit for the role, especially if you can't do it full-time. For the test I took, there were 3 parts. The first part had logic questions. The second part involved planning questions, like ones about recursion. The third part required studying a specific syntax structure and then implementing it in a program in a particular order. It was quite confusing.

I had a phone interview with the recruiter first, and then an in-person interview with the team. It was a nice interview, and I felt it went well, especially since I have over 20 years of experience and was returning to work after being a stay-at-home mom for a few years. I decided to switch careers into a support role. They didn't offer me the job, saying I'd just want to get into recruiting, which I found odd since they didn't ask more about it. Recruiting was the last thing I wanted to do at that time. It wasn't meant to be, and I'm glad they made those assumptions in hindsight.

It started with a phone screen that felt more like talking to a team member due to their agile training, not a typical recruiter. Then, I had two hour-long phone interviews with other agile coaches. After that, I met one coach for lunch and the other coach/team lead/director at the office. The final step was meeting the president of professional services. The whole thing was done in about a week, involving a few trips to the Atlanta office, and they were really flexible with my schedule.

Behavioral Technical

Matrix Resources was my initial staffing company. But while looking for jobs, I found out they were hiring for their own professional services team. I agreed to apply, and after that, I had two phone interviews before coming in for the actual interview. One interview was about my experience and personality, and the other was more technical, focusing on solving problems. I talked to a few people in upper management during the interview, and I really enjoyed each of those conversations.
