I decided to leave the interview process because it was becoming too much and seemed a bit off. They had repetitive screening steps, like a written quiz with standard questions, and the recruiter's communication was all over the place. Then they asked me to provide proprietary materials from my last job, like a board presentation deck, and that's when I decided to quit.

Had a phone screening call before the first interview. The first interview was with two people and involved some thought experiments. The second interview was with four people, and I had to do a performance task beforehand that we discussed during the interview. The overall experience was pretty good; the people were respectful and let me ask a lot of questions. They called with the offer details over Zoom. There was about a week between each stage, and they communicated promptly. About a week after my final interview, they requested references, and about a week after that, I got the offer.

The interview was pretty simple and quick, mostly questions about why I wanted to work as an advising fellow, and about other experiences I had. I believe I was also asked about how I might handle various situations that might come up in advising.

I had a phone screener, then met one-on-one with my potential supervisor. After that, I interviewed with the rest of the team. The final interview was with a potential supervisor and one of the founders. They also did reference checks, including with a past direct supervisor.
