The hiring process involved 3 technical interviews with engineers from the Perception team and the CEO. This was followed by a 1-hour discussion with the other co-founder who handles product. The HR person was great at scheduling and very responsive. The interviewers were smart and enjoyable to interact with. I received an offer within a week, showing how quickly they move.

It started with a take-home coding challenge that asked for the most straightforward solution. After that, there were three onsite interviews, where basic math skills were heavily emphasized. So, it's a good idea to review math concepts on platforms like LeetCode.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Questions about Permutations and Combinations were asked.
  • There were also questions related to Probability.
  • A question on Breadth-First Search (BFS) was included.

Technical Coding

The interview process was not good. Coding questions were given in the Google Meet chat. The technical questions were unclear and didn't have clear expectations. This company has great potential with its talented teams, but the interview process doesn't meet the standards of similar startups.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked a medium LeetCode problem involving maps.
