I talked to the District Manager on the phone and it was a good chat. She then asked me to come to a center. I did. She said she'd let me know about their decision the next Monday. Monday passed with no word, so I left a voicemail and an email on Tuesday. No response. By the next Wednesday, she got in touch and said, “I’m so sorry for the hold-up. We had some changes to market sizes and staffing. We're still keen on you. We're meeting Tuesday to sort out the markets. We'll reach out after the Tuesday meeting, latest by Wednesday afternoon 5/8. Thanks for hanging in there. Have a great day.” 5/8 came and still nothing. I followed up with a voicemail and email. Again, silence, so I stopped trying. Today, 5/29, I got an automated rejection email from her. Don't tell candidates you'll reply by a certain date and that they're being considered, only to ghost them and waste their time. This has been the worst interview experience I've ever had with any company, EVER. Please improve your communication and interview process so future candidates don't have to go through being strung along and ignored like I was. This whole thing made me not want to work at Mathnasium or even be a customer.

It was a good process. After submitting your resume, the first part was a phone call. The next and last step was an in-person meeting where I met the team I'd be working with to ensure it was a good match.

I introduced myself and then went into the back office. I was asked some very generic interview questions and was also told about the position. The interviewer was very nice and professional, but they talked a lot about personal stuff that wasn't related to the interview, which really distracted from the flow.
