First up was a quick 15 minute phone chat, and it seemed to go pretty well. They asked me some basic stuff about my work history and threw in a couple of personality questions. Right after that call, I got an email about coming in for an in-person interview. This onsite interview took about 1.5 hours. I talked one-on-one with HR and then with both CEOs.

I sent in my resume but never got a response. So I reached out directly to the founder who was also the hiring manager to check on my application status. She was open to hearing about my background and how it could help the company, but I felt like she wasn't that interested. She gave me an edit test, which I thought was pretty easy, but I didn't get picked. The startup seemed really disorganized and super picky, even though they were new.

I interviewed over two years ago and there was very little structure at that time. Had the opportunity to meet the Founders to understand their goals and expectations. Chatted about overcoming previous challenges and why I was looking to move on from previous roles. Felt like I got a good taste of how the company was being run at the time.

It was a fun and easy process. Everyone I met was lovely and nice. The founder was very informative and enthusiastic. The office space is nice, though a bit hard to find initially. You get nice perks, and they followed up quickly with emails to ensure I was on board. The work culture felt very welcoming.
