So, the interview process was like this: first, there was a video phone screen, then a video interview with the hiring manager. The third and final step was an in-person onsite interview, though the hiring manager wasn't there. This last one had three people who just read basic behavioral interview questions from their screens.

First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. Then, I was invited to an in-person meeting with supervisors, two VPs, and the HR Director, which lasted over 4 hours. Following that, I had to come in again to give a 10-minute presentation and meet with the VP of HR and the CEO. After trying to get an update for over 4 times, I saw the job was posted again. When I asked again, they told me I wasn't being considered. The whole process took more than 3 months, and they never followed up with me during it.

The interview process for this role involves two initial phone interviews. After that, candidates will go on a ride-along with a current District Manager. This is followed by a lengthy 6-hour interview with a panel of 6 people. The process concludes with a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation delivered to the panel. This structure is consistent for all candidates, whether internal or external franchisees.

I was offered a remote internship position. I asked for a few days to think it over so I wouldn't accept and then ghost them. A few days later, I called back to accept and everything seemed good. But then, just minutes after that call, I got an email saying they decided to go with a local candidate instead of me, even though they had already extended an offer.
