I had a call with a recruiter where I talked about my experience. They asked me to send in some documents, which I did, but then I heard nothing back. I called again and asked for the same recruiter, and they said she would call me. She didn't. They did give me an offer, but it was conditional on me proving my experience, and after that, they just ghosted me.

So, I was up for two positions, LPM and VM. The first interview was with the CEO. She started by asking about my background, career aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses. Things were fine until she asked about my current salary. I politely declined to share that information. She then asked again, this time in a more direct way, asking how much money I make in the U.S., referencing my immigration status. I reiterated that I preferred not to disclose private information. She seemed surprised, noting I was the first person in 30 years to refuse. I explained it's private, and I have the right not to answer. Her response, suggesting it's because I'm paid less, really caught me off guard. I stayed professional, though I was already done with the interview mentally. After I finished, I got an email from her apologizing for not knowing about the salary history ban and saying HR would schedule the next interview. Honestly, I appreciated the apology for the ignorance, but I would have preferred an apology for trying to undervalue my 5 years of experience and for interrupting me when I stated my rights. It was a huge red flag, so I decided not to proceed.

I was contacted right away via phone and was emailed a professional interview set up. No telephone screening. When I arrived, I filled out an application. I had an interview with a consultant and staff who was 30-40 minutes late. The staff person in the interview was personable and nice. The consultant came across as abrupt and serious. The consultant said they would get back to me a month later, because she had other commitments. The consultant contacted me via email two months later saying the position was filled.

They want to get to know you better. Usually, general questions. They ask about your goals, interests, tolerance towards stress. Total 3 interviews: department manager, COO and CEO. Managers are friendly and make you feel comfortable during the interview.You will take a test. The process took 2 month. Overall experience is positive.
